How to Request an AWS SSL/TLS Certificate

What is AWS Certificate Manager (ACM)

AWS Certificate Manager is a service that lets you easily provision, manage, and deploy public and private Secure Sockets Layer/Transport Layer Security (SSL/TLS) certificates for use with AWS services and your internal connected resources.

Request a public certificate

AWS Management Console → Certificate Manager → Request a certificate

Step 1: Add domain names

Step 2: Select validation method

Step 2: Select validation method

Step 3: Add tags

Step 3: Add tags

Step 4: Review

Step 4: Review

Step 5: Validation

Step 5: Validation

Approve your certificate request

Check your email and you will receive a letter with the subject "Certificate approval for your.domain" from Amazon Certificates.

Certificate approval review

Click the "I Approve" button.

Certificate approved successfully

And then you'll get an SSL/TLS certificate.
